Joint Oil has been established under the international convention concluded between the Great Jamahiriya and the Republic of Tunisia on 8/8/1988 and equally owned by the “Entreprise Tunisienne d’Activités Pétrolières” and the “Libya Oil Holdings Ltd”. The company was granted the “7th of November” Block where seismic surveys, geological studies on the Block and the surrounding areas as well as the recent exploratory operations on the Block have led to map several geological structures and enabled identifying a number of  significant leads and prospects.
